Artiestenpad (length 1.5 km) - crossing to Koksijde.
We are on the natural dividing line between dunes and polders: a sudden dune-polder transition, with a fairly rare and valuable biotope consisting of rows of pollard willows, wooded banks and cattle drinking pools, south of the municipal reserve Oosthoekduinen. Maybe the donkeys will greet you there with their chatter. The Agency for Nature and Forests manages and maintains a varied landscape through grazing with historically present domestic animals (including donkeys). Following this path, you will arrive at the beach on the border with St. Idesbald.
