Garzebekeveld
This real play zone, with its hills and play woodland, invites everyone to romp around to their heart’s content. Via the neighbouring playground, you also reach Vijvers Markey, where you can enjoy the water from one of the picnic benches.
Cabourduinen
The Cabourduinen, or fossil dunes of Adinkerke, are among the best-preserved fossil dune areas in north-western Europe. Some parts of this dune landscape are – wait for it – already 5,000 years old. That gives them great ecological value, with unique fauna and flora. On the informative guided walks, an expert shares plenty of fascinating facts about this exceptional area.
Vijvers Markey: These ponds were created by sand extraction. The site was recently cleaned up and beautifully redesigned in a contemporary way. You can walk, cycle, fish and relax here.
Zwarten Hoek
This watery area used to be an old sand quarry. Today, the 10-metre-deep pits are filled with clear groundwater and rainwater. It is a true paradise for water birds. As you walk, you are sure to see them looking for tasty treats in and around the water.
Parking
You can park on Moeresteenweg. Check the different parking zones.
Toilets

Picnic at Maerebrug
