Calling all mountain bikers! This year, the very best beach riders return to De Panne’s beach for the 30th edition of the “Mother of All Beach Races”. And you can be part of it too!
The De Panne Beach Endurance is an international mountain bike beach race attracting more than 1,000 riders from six countries every year. It was the very first beach race in Belgium and remains the largest of its kind today. Its trademark feature is the explosive mass start, with every rider setting off together to tackle the same 52 km course.
Its international flavour, including a feed station in Bray-Dunes, the climb through the “Le Perroquet” campsite in France and a range of challenging obstacles along the route, creates an unforgettable experience every mountain biker should enjoy at least once.
Who is it for?
- Young riders aged 10 to 16 take part in the Kids Race.
- Participants aged 17 and over compete in the De Panne Beach Endurance.
- No racing licence is required.

Enjoy the race from the front row
From 10 am, a dedicated event tent on the Leopold I-Esplanade opens its doors. The perfect place to experience the Beach Endurance up close:
- The race route passes straight through the tent.
- Giant screens with live coverage ensure you do not miss a moment.
- Kartje Kilo provides commentary and keeps the atmosphere buzzing throughout the race.
- Grab a drink at the bar and soak up the race-day atmosphere.
- The awards ceremony for the top three Elite Men, Women and Kids also takes place in the tent, followed by a DJ set.
In short, it is the ideal base for enjoying the Beach Endurance in comfort and great company.

- along the Zeedijk-Esplanade section of the route
- at the famous “hill” in front of De Panne town centre
- and, of course, at the unforgettable mass start, the iconic highlight of the race!
I reserve my accessible seat
Are you planning to attend this event and need additional assistance or are you a wheelchair user?
We will reserve a parking space close to the entrance, as well as a front-row viewing sport or a place on the accessible platform.
