Looking out over De Panne at sunrise or enjoying the vast nature ... you can do that from the following unique locations, so get your camera ready!
New: Westerpunt vantage point
As of May 2024, at the end of the concrete walking embankment in the direction of France you will find Westerpunt. This vantage point is an architectural masterpiece that offers visitors a magnificent view of the sea and dunes. Definitely worth a visit!
Highest point Duinpark Kykhill
Do a vertical sprint on the steps in Duinpark Kykhill! While you catch your breath, you can enjoy the view of the charming Dumontwijk. The beautiful villas in typical cottage style will take you back to the residential tourism of the 19th and 20th centuries: a must-see for architecture lovers!
Lookout point Groene Biezenlaan
After a steep climb in the dune sand, you can see the impressive Westhoek Reserve. This is the oldest and largest continuous dune massif on our coast. Maybe you will spot a Scottish Highland cow or a cute little Konik horse in the distance?
Panorama tower Duinpanne
The panorama tower is part of the new permanent Sea Change exhibition, and is literally the highlight of this exhibition in the visitor centre Duinpanne. Admire the view of the beautiful dune garden or the Calmeynbos, and enjoy a fresh beer or a delicious ice cream on the sun terrace afterwards. ‘Da’s van lekt min liptje’ (that makes me want to lick my lips) as we say here!
