Zone 1 Programme

Introductory Sessions

Join your dog for the ‘Sport with your Dog’ introductory session!

Under the professional guidance of Kimberley from Bluetann, you’ll try out three different dog sports. The programme includes cardio training, yoga and agility.

You can register for the session from 11.00am to 12.00pm or from 2.00pm to 3.00pm.

Places are limited, so be quick! We only allow one dog per registration

Prize-giving ceremony

We’re organising a proper dog show again this year! The prize-giving ceremony will take place from 3.45 pm to 4.15 pm at the Kwispelfestival, attended by none other than Ellen Callebout and Miss Belgium!

Best Buddies

New at the Kwispelfestival: the Best Buddies ceremony.

At 4.15 pm, we’ll be making the unconditional friendship of various dog duos official in the paw party demo zone. We’ll raise a toast to their friendship and immortalise the moment by presenting them with a lovely certificate.

Zone 3 programme 

Interactive mantrailing demonstration by Chez Maurice

Mantrailing is a form of tracking dog sport or practical tracking in which a dog is trained to follow the unique scent of a specific person and locate that person.

During an interactive mantrailing demo, Eva from Chez Maurice will demonstrate how dogs follow a person’s scent to work out a trail. Fascinating to watch… and even more fun to experience.

Workshop by A Scent Within

Sign up for one of the dog workshops led by Conny Lannoo from A Scent Within:

11.15am – 12.00pm: Make your own dog spray – €25 – Sign up!   

Protect your dog from ticks and fleas the natural way 🐾
During this short workshop, you’ll make your own spray using essential oils, tailored to your dog.
You will learn:
– which oils are safe
– how to use them correctly
– and what to look out for with your dog
You’ll go home with your own spray and the knowledge to make it again yourself.

1.15 pm – 2.00 pm: Raindrop massage – €45 – Sign up! 

Discover the power of touch with your dog 🐶
During this workshop, you’ll be introduced to raindrop massage for dogs in an accessible way.  Bring a mat or a blanket so that you and your dog are comfortable during the massage.
You’ll learn:
– how to gently support your dog
– basic techniques you can apply straight away
– how relaxation affects  both body and behaviour (such as tension or restlessness)
A lovely moment of connection between you and your dog, with techniques you can also use at home.  

3.00 pm – 3.45 pm: Animal Design reading – €30 – Sign up!  

Why does your dog do what he does? 🐾
Get to know Animal Design in a playful and light-hearted way.
You’ll discover:
– the different types
– how your dog processes energy
– and why certain behaviours make perfect sense
No heavy theory, just recognition of yourself and your dog, insight and a few ‘aha moments’ to take home with you.

Short or Long dog treasure trail

Set off on a trail with your dog, follow the route and sniff out the clues to solve the questions. eniet niet alleen van animatie, maar ook van een uitgestippelde route.
