Koning Albertplein, De Panne

The sculpture represents a young woman in a decoratively draped dress, with an S-shaped profile. In one hand she holds a helmet decorated with a laurel wreath, and in the other hand she holds the handle of a dagger pressed against her cheek.

The monument was made by Jules Bernaerts and was unveiled in 1922 in the presence of King Albert I.
